So Dukie and I have discovered the best site ever! I love it. I could spend all day looking and clicking and adding it to my database of MUST DO! So you could say that I was getting in gear to do some really great stuff. They have links to everything imaginable and its so addicting, but I would have to say that the DIY and Crafting billboards are the best. I so want to make the solid lotion bars and I was really wanting to make a fall wreath that might lead to making me a wreath making fool. Pinterest has links to some of the coolest halloween, christmas, sports teams, address any kind of wreath you would want to make. So this lead to a "check it out" trip to Hobby Lobby to see what I could see and the husband tagged along. I had been raving about pinterest for about a couple of weeks so he could feel my crafting fever coming on. So we are walking around and we get separated. I'm browsing and I guess he wondered all around the store for "stick" wreaths. Well let me tell you, I wasn't wanting to make a "stick" wreath. I have learned that it was much cheaper to use some foam doohickey from the plumbing section and make the shape and size of a wreath that you wanted and then run with your wreath idea. Essentially you are just decorating a circle with fun frilly stuff. Well my dear husband is not down with that apparently. He wants to tramp around my inlaws pasture trimming down seedlings to make his own "stick" wreath and then he wants me to make stuff to put on it.
Thats not really what I have envisions as crafting to say the least. I wanted the foam things cover it in pretty ribbon or yarn. Buy some other stuff to stick on it with the glue gun that I'll have to buy. I'm just sure it would be cheaper that buying an already assembled wreath, right? Ok maybe not but it would be my hobby, I NEED A HOBBY. So needless to say Dukie and I won't spend Sunday fighting the glue gun and producing something that looks like it came out of a preschool. No crafting for us :)
