Crafting

So Dukie and I have discovered the best site ever! I love it. I could spend all day looking and clicking and adding it to my database of MUST DO! So you could say that I was getting in gear to do some really great stuff. They have links to everything imaginable and its so addicting, but I would have to say that the DIY and Crafting billboards are the best. I so want to make the solid lotion bars and I was really wanting to make a fall wreath that might lead to making me a wreath making fool. Pinterest has links to some of the coolest halloween, christmas, sports teams, address any kind of wreath you would want to make. So this lead to a "check it out" trip to Hobby Lobby to see what I could see and the husband tagged along. I had been raving about pinterest for about a couple of weeks so he could feel my crafting fever coming on. So we are walking around and we get separated. I'm browsing and I guess he wondered all around the store for "stick" wreaths. Well let me tell you, I wasn't wanting to make a "stick" wreath. I have learned that it was much cheaper to use some foam doohickey from the plumbing section and make the shape and size of a wreath that you wanted and then run with your wreath idea. Essentially you are just decorating a circle with fun frilly stuff. Well my dear husband is not down with that apparently. He wants to tramp around my inlaws pasture trimming down seedlings to make his own "stick" wreath and then he wants me to make stuff to put on it.
Thats not really what I have envisions as crafting to say the least. I wanted the foam things cover it in pretty ribbon or yarn. Buy some other stuff to stick on it with the glue gun that I'll have to buy. I'm just sure it would be cheaper that buying an already assembled wreath, right? Ok maybe not but it would be my hobby, I NEED A HOBBY. So needless to say Dukie and I won't spend Sunday fighting the glue gun and producing something that looks like it came out of a preschool. No crafting for us :)

Well it's sure been awhile since I posted here. Time still flies when you're not having fun. So here's a little catch up for anyone out there that is actually reading this:
We did move to Enid OK in April. After about a month of trying I did manage to find a job. And it seemed things were looking up. We purchased a beautiful new vehicle that I love and things were really looking up.
Since then my sister had a baby that she would never admit to anyone that he was coming so that was a big surprise to say the least. Since then my husband and I were really struggling with being ok with that situation. My parents who always preached that there would never do anything that would make them not love us have embraced her and her son seemingly without any qualms. It has taken us about 6 weeks or more but I think we can finally let loose of our feeling and learn to meet our nephew this weekend with love and smiles. It's been kind of hard on our marriage to deal with something like this. I would say this was something outside our marriage something outside the two of us. But our struggles of dealing with her dishonesty and my other family members happiness created some frustration between the two of us. But I think things are getting better now.
The negative thing is that my job is not what I thought it was and is something I definitely dont want. I am struggling to stay happy with myself and with this town when I am working at the job. I have continued to look for something else while working this job but I haven't been having much luck. I had an interview this week and I thought it went well but I haven't heard anything. So longer story shorter I'm frustrated and disappointed.
Uggg...this post is cheery huh? Well update on Dukie. She is a hole digging fool, she has has completely tore up our flower beds not that there were any flowers left so I feel like that was a good place for her to dig. And she was pretty proud of herself. She has been getting pretty spoiled lately due to a bad batch of chicken strips. Overall she is a pretty happy doggie. Plus her birthday is coming up so she has something to look forward to.

I guess that's all for today hopefully future news will be more upbeat. Stay tuned!
